Circle C Registered Quarter Horses

Circle C specializes in quality Quarter Horses, with "good minds and good feet." The herd stallion Diamond Tuss has a color dilution gene resulting in a crop of buckskins, cremellos, and palominos. The foundation stallion, Diamond Duro, was one of the few Supreme Quarter Horses with qualifications in halter, performance and racing.

Ken Klinefelter, owner, respects the natural order of the herd, which dictates the principles of his breeding program. The foals are born in the field. Because of herd behavior and normal social interaction, vices are virtually non-existant.

The horses live outdoors as nature intended. At Circle C, there is no lounge line work to put stress on young bones and joints. At 2 years-old, the horses are introduced to a saddle and only to walk and trot. Cantering isn't introduced until age 3. A young horse is like a child and we don't rush them into "adulthood" too early.
